Well, hello there! Guess you found my profile - that's great! I am one of the co-founders of TresCom and a complete Jurassic Park nutjob. I love to get in touch with like-minded people, so don't be afraid of contacting me!
Oh and also - 5 random facts:
* I prefer salty snacks over sweets
* I hate some of the modern advancements (touch-interfaces, blue-ray discs, flat screen TVs, etc.)
* I haven't changed my hair cut since I was 16
* I love music and tend to sing whenever I feel like nobody's listening
* I can wiggle with my ears (and focus on only 1 if I want to)

I am not impressed.
1) Everything is CG. In the first films, there were plenty of real models.
2) a made up dinosaur? there are dozens of cool dinosaurs, and discoveries made since 2001 which could have been used. ‘Lets just make up a dinosaur’ is silly. I think doing that treats the audience as ignorant.
3)How did a mosquito get that sea creature’s DNA?
4) The rumor is that the main character trains raptors to help him hunt down rogue dinosaurs. This seems incredibly stupid and unrealistic, and reminds me of the ‘dinobabies’ plotline from a few years ago which we all hated.
Oh well, at least we get more jurassic park.

I was impressed until half-way through the movie.
The CG looks very pretty! Even if the plot is bad, at least it’s going to be nice to look at.
I think it all seemed very promising, until that hybrid showed up. It made the plot look a whole lot weaker. But in their defense – they want the dinosaurs to act realistic, and real animals don’t go on a rampagne just like that. A GM-dinosaur isn’t entirely “real”, so it can get away with it.
It also gives the producers something new to work with, instead of the typical “dinosaur-escapes-again-I-thought-we-learned-something” plot.
And, I admit, they peaked my interest – I DO want to see the hybrid!
I almost got disappointed, since they waited so long to show the raptors. I hope the raptors and characters are co-operating instead of the characters training the raptors. That’d be cool.
