Woah, that did not go as planned…
So here’s what happened: during the migration, a mostly automated process, we noticed that the nodes had become unstable. They may have been out-of-synch before, but when the migration started, one of the nodes started to override itself and in turn remove large parts of the files it contained.
The process was stopped immediately, but in doing so we lost access to the data on the node. The node contained files from some of the hosted websites, including trescom, and more importantly our entire webserver configuration. Without it, all websites went down immediately. The databases, which contains the content to all websites were migrated without any issues, so in a worst-case scenario we would have had all the texts, but only parts of the files (images etc). There was a second backup strategy in place, on top of the replication of the data across the nodes, but that one failed us too, as it stopped synching data from the newer nodes. Regardless, we would have been able to recover data from there, but it would have taken a lot of time.
As of writing, we managed to recover the broken node and regain access to all data. We are now fixing remaining issues on the websites – Trescomforum for example is lacking the proper PHP version. So everything should be back to normal soon.

As Hammond says – you need three Cray X-MP computers to move the data.
Accordingly TresCom server security was paramount, the tightest on the island.

I have the game in spanish, when i buy the game dint come in the web site wath language it was, maybe is because of diferente language that not work the mods? i am not sure thats why i am asking helpo i trie everything by my own, i can show you print screans to prove how apears the files of the game qhen i download the mods if you guys want, just want to resolve this problem it sucks not be able to play the mods =(

For modern PCs, it is recommended to install the CE patch: https://www.trescom.org/download/trespasser-ce-patch/
If you want to quickly setup the game for mods, get the starter kit: https://www.trescom.org/download/trespasser-2020-a-trespasser-modding-starter-kit/
The fact that your game is in Spanish don’t matter. The mods will work on any language. If you still need help, I recommend joining the forum to get more help than giving it here, or join our Discord. Links to both can be found on the right. 🙂
I would just like to thank you for all the hard work you have done over the years. I only recently got into hunting games and came across Trespasser – The Lost World – Jurassic Park, which then led me to your site as I love to use mods with the games I play. It still amazes me how dedicated the gaming community can be when they find a game they love to play.
